Paarl Golf Club, Boschenmeer, Paarl SA

The Paarl Golf Club, is an integrated part of the Boschenmeer Golf and Country estate and the first 27 holes facility in the Western Cape area. The course is located the beautiful South African wine region, with the sparkling Paarl mountains in the background (when the light is right, it looks like the hills are covered with pearls). Tee up early in the morning as temperatures can rise here! 7 or 8 AM is great to start: the nature awakens and the grass is still moist which is preferable, as the South African grass can be tough as plastic! Watch out for the very fast greens.

The course is great to play, with quite some water, mature trees and bunkers. Don't get scared at 13 where there is seemingly huge lake to conquer. You'll make it, trust me.

Facilities are perfect. Grand dressing rooms with good showers, fresh towels, lockers, etc. The shop offers some nice memorabilia. A very nice touch is the break possibility between 9 and 10. If you're on schedule, you can get some refreshments. After your round, refreshment towels and drinks are available at the restaurant. Topping it off are the caddies. Yeah that's right, no matter how lousy you play, everybody can get a caddy here. It won't cost you a fortune, and more important, you give these guys (often coming from the townships) a paying job. And don't think they'll only carry your bag: they all have handicaps most of us can only dream of, and you'll will definitely benefit of their advises.

Antalya Golf Club, Belek TR

To play one great golf course is always a challenge. To play two is a rare privilige indeed. The courses of the Antalya Golf Club are designed by leading architects and Senior Tour professional David Jones. The playing surfaces, stunning landscapes and perfect weather all combine for an unforgettable golfing experience.

The PASHA golf course
An inviting 5731 meters par 72 course. Tricky dog-legs, cleverly placed bunkers and undulating greens will ensure that the more experienced golfer must think over each shot carefully. Towering umbrella pines, crystal clear lakes and the snow capped Taurus Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to the course. As it winds it way through the forest of Belek, the peaceful surroundings interrupted only by the call of the HOOPE birds.

The SULTAN golf course
The SULTAN beckons the heartiest of golfers to take the par 71, 6411 meters challenge. Created for the discerning golfer, the SULTAN delivers a stem but rewarding test of golfing ability that any keen player will relish.

From a hard day work you can afterwards relax in the clubhouse which is beautiful designed and has a good view on the courses around it. The people are very friendly. But watch the dresscode, without a poloshirt you can't play the course.

Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, Curacao NA

The Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort has a 18 hole championship golf course which will certainly leave a big impression on you. Golfing experts are of the opinion that the course will be amongst the world's top 50 courses. Excellent soils and wonderful native vegetation gives superb playability and beauty. The course wanders through rolling land to and from the sea and along side newly constructed lakes and a large resored lagoon.

The people are very friendly and the course is wel keeped by a lot of greenkeepers. Cold drinks and snacks are frequently served on the course, so you don't need to bring anything with you. Afterwards there is a bar in the clubhouse for some drinks and a very good selected shop for all your golfneeds. After 18 holes you can take a cold Amstel Bright or Blue Bay cocktail at the bar on the beach and relax in the sun.

Golf de Lille Metropole, Lille FR

Golf Lille Metropole has an 18 and 9 holes course. At the arrival, it all looks a bit messy. The shop isn't the most appealing, the parking is on a dirt underground, and some trash of older inhabitants of this piece of land still hang around. The driving range gets your hopes up. Ever hit a ball in big hole with 50, 100, 150 and 200 meter signs in it? It looks like a meteorite has struck here... but it looks nice!

The 9 holes course starts at hole 16 of the 18 holes course. So you'll get to meet some people who have gone all the way, which is nice for experience sharing. The holes has nice curves, drops, hidden holes and bunkers. Don't get over excited here! Holes 3 - 9 are on the other side of the track of the fast train TGV, which every now and then gives that extra French flair to the round. Hole 5 is a short, but very narrow one. You'll be able to earn some points here but be careful. After the put you will get rewarded with one of the best views over a hole: Hole 6 is only 110 meters from black, but about 45 meters lower than the tee, with an amazing drop straight into an excavation.

Didn't try the restaurant.
